Infertility

Treating Infertility with Acupuncture
Infertility affects one in six American couples. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 15% of American women of childbearing age have received some form of infertility treatment. Many women seek help by taking fertility medications, undergoing surgery, or trying various Assisted Reproductive Therapies (ART), such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and intrauterine insemination (IUI). ART treatments can be very expensive. IVF cost averages $10,000 to $15,000 per attempt, but can be up to $30.000. This is not affordable to many couples.

Allergic Rhinitis

Spring and autumn–such beautiful seasons of the year to be spent outdoors. Go outside, go enjoy the flowers of spring blooming. Stroll through the fiery leaves of fall. Go outside. I dare you. Even the boldest may be faced with adversity in their mission to survive the allergy seasons. Perhaps you are one of these brave souls. And there are many others who do not find solace in the year-round sneezing, nose dripping, nose congesting, eye-watering, head aching overtures of rhinitis. Molds, hair, feathers, dust, mites, and other airborne substances are household menaces. Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is an exaggerated response by the immune system to allergens inhaled. These allergens trigger histamine production that cause inflammation and fluid production in lining of the nose and sinuses. Usually, decongestant sprays and antihistamine drugs don’t always bring relief and their side effects may include drowsiness, nervousness, insomnia, and palpitations of the heart. Some antihistamines and allergy medicines may also produce allergic reactions of their own.

Acupuncture and Cancer

There have been many advances in the early detection and treatment of cancer. While the standard medical care for cancer is effective, the treatments are aggressive and cause numerous unwanted side effects as well as a lowered immune system. Acupuncture has received much attention as an adjunctive therapy in cancer treatments for its use in pain relief, reducing side effects, accelerating recovery and improving quality of life.

Quit Smoking

The evidence of the damage smoking does to the body increases daily; it is not only the tobacco that smokers should be concerned about but other dangerous chemicals out of the 4,000 ingredients that make up a cigarette. Some common ingredients include ammonia-a household cleaner, arsenic-a chemical used in rat poisons, cyanide-a deadly poison, potanium-a cancer causing radioactive, etc. No one would intentionally expose those close to them to such dangerous chemicals- so why expose ourselves to it?

Detox Cupping

Cupping helps regulate your body’s function and enhances its own natural ability to clear toxins from the body. Toxins in our body build up in the blood from environmental stressors like unhealthy dieting or injuries and causes poor circulation in the body. Poor circulation leads to a dysfunction since the body tissues aren’t receiving fresh oxygen and nutrients from blood. Cupping removes toxins by lifting the stagnation by suction and allowing fresh blood to circulate. Cupping helps target problem areas - most athletes will get cupping done on their back, legs, and shoulder areas to help restore their muscles to health. Try Cupping Today!
